What is the WaterDrive?
The WaterDrive® is a biodegradable, water-soluble golf ball designed for hitting over water in places where traditional golf isn't possible.
Is it a real golf ball?
Yes, it is a genuine recreational golf ball, designed to be hit with standard clubs but not intended for competition.
How far can it travel?
Depending on the player's level and the club used, the WaterDrive® can travel up to around 200 metres.
What happens to it in water?
On contact with water, the WaterDrive® gradually breaks apart before entering a natural biodegradation process in line with the ISO 23977 standard.
Does the Waterdrive® feed the fish?
No, feeding wild animals is not advised, as it disrupts ecosystems.
Does it create microplastics?
No. Unlike the PVA used in other soluble balls, its formulation is designed to biodegrade without leaving persistent microplastics.
Where can it be used?
The WaterDrive® is played from a beach, a pontoon, a yacht, a rooftop or any other authorised, safe area allowing play towards the water.
How should the balls be stored?
WaterDrive® balls should be kept dry, in their packaging and away from moisture until use.
